CrossFit Games Coming to Fort Worth

We’d heard CrossFit put out an RFP for their 2024 games

Every time they came to visit Fort Worth, we felt that there was a connection.

The more they thought, it exemplified some of the same characteristics as a CrossFit athlete: It’s the cowboy, right?

It’s the cowboy and the crossfitter. It’s grit. It’s perseverance. It’s hard work. It’s believing in yourself. It’s taking care of your fellow men and women.

What a win for the City of Fort Worth! Take a behind-the-scenes look at how we tapped into our cowboy culture to win the bid next year for The CrossFit Games.

Visit Fort Worth did a masterful job rolling out the red carpet and showcasing Dickie's Arena and the Fort Worth Stockyards, both of which are in leagues of their own.

Special thanks to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (the 2nd busiest airport in the world) for their support and Mayor Mattie Parker for her partnership.

This event will benefit our local small businesses, create jobs, shine a light on staying active and healthy, benefit local biotech-focused programs like UNT Health Science Center and Techstars, and put Fort Worth on a global stage. We look forward to welcoming the fittest athletes (and fans) from around the world to our city next August.
