Growing friendships with Japan

Japan is the largest foreign investor in the Dallas/Fort Worth region.

Moreover, the Japanese are wonderful people, and the US-Japan bilateral relationship is one of the world’s strongest.

Last month the Japan-America Society of Dallas/Fort Worth hosted an incredible event that highlighted the great work (and growing friendships) between our countries.

Congratulations to Fort Worth Sister Cities International and Mae Ferguson for being a big award winner. Texas is fortunate to have the outstanding Consul General of Japan in Houston, the honorable Hirofumi Murabayashi, as a great cultural ambassador.

It was especially meaningful having friends from the Sister Cities International Board of Directors in town to celebrate together.
