Z's Cafe Tackling Food Insecurity

Nine weeks and 20,000 people fed thanks to our many volunteers, donors and friends.

Here are some pictures from Sunday's 900 bags of produce (sponsored by Blue Zones Project Fort Worth) and 500 sack lunches (funded by Z's Cafe and Catering).

This food benefited the Boys and Girls Club, LVTRise and the Morningside, Fort Worth community. We had an entire family of six in charge of measuring out 1800 lbs of beans and rice!

Special thanks to Marianne Leal of State Farm for the treats for the volunteers, Sarinya Oliver for donating masks, Austin Daniel Patry from Rollin' n Bowlin' for donating product and Becky Burton from Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains for the loaves-and-fishes endless supply of Girl Scout Cookies.
